Find your way

Buses to the Perth campus are frequent with regular services from the city, Subiaco, Morley and along Stirling Highway. Buses are managed by Transperth and some services are subsidised by the University.

Benefits of using public transport

  • Save the hassle of finding a carpark
  • Make the most of your travel time to study, read or enjoy the entertainment features on your smartphone or tablet
  • Improve your health and activity levels through walking an increased 2000 steps on average.
  • You can save over $1000 a year in fuel, maintenance and parking fees.

Getting to UWA by bus

Buses to UWA regularly pass through the following areas:

  • suburbs on Transperth's Circle Route (998, 999) which travels from Fremantle along Stirling Highway and to suburbs north of UWA
  • Subiaco, Perth, Northbridge, Morley, Bedford, Inglewood, Mt Lawley and western suburbs

If you live elsewhere in Perth, you will need to catch a bus or train to Subiaco Station or the Perth CBD and transfer to a UWA bus service.

UWA bus services

All of these listed bus services use the bus stops on Stirling Highway at the northern end of the Perth campus, except for the 97 (Subiaco shuttle) that stops at the northern end of Fairway and Princess Road, terminating on Hackett Drive.
