Bike Week is Western Australia’s annual celebration of bike riding and will run from 16-25 March 2018.
UWA supports active transport to work and have a range of end of trip facilities available on campus. Biking to work is both a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and enhance your health and wellbeing!
Meet other like-minded pedallers, hear from the Executive Director of Corporate Services about the facilities on campus to support active transport, get advice from the Bike Doctor, UWA Exercise and Performance Centre and UWA Sport on keeping your bike and body in top condition. All present on the day will also receive a free 7-day gym pass for the UWA Recreation and Fitness Centre!
The UWA Bike Breakfast is the University's premiere bike event, held every year during BikeWeek. Each year students and staff ditch the traffic, get their day's exercise and make friends over a free breakfast, by cycling to UWA.
The event was a Bikeley Award winner in 2014 for its collaborative efforts to encourage the more sustainable travel-mode of cycling to campus.
