There are different types of pay and display parking areas around the University:

  • Long-term (8am to 5pm)
    Car Parks 9, 17, 25, 31, 33 and 35.
  • Short-term (8am to 5pm)
    The maximum amount of time you're allowed to park varies, so make sure to check before leaving your car.
    Car Parks 1, 3, 4, 20.

Car Park 37 pay parking is restricted between 7am to 8pm and is for Oral Health Centre of WA patients only.  Vehicle must have a valid parking ticket and appointment slip displayed.  

Ticket machines will only accept Visa or MasterCard payments.

At the end of the time limit on the signage, the vehicle must be moved from the carpark.

Please do not park in reserved, disabled, maintenance and loading bays.

Please note during business hours, the demand for visitor parking bays can exceed what is available.

Reciprocal parking

 The University of Western Australia does not have reciprocal parking with any other University.

Red and yellow parking bays after hours

You don't need a permit for the staff red permit and student yellow permit bays on weekends, or after 5pm and before 8am on weekdays (except Car Park 37 where parking is restricted between 7am to 8pm, Monday to Friday).

Pay parking outside UWA

Pay parking is on the roads surrounding UWA. This parking is controlled by the City of Perth and City of Nedlands.
